Dr Salim Mahmud is an Educationist, Professor of Dhaka University, Author, International Energy Expert and a National Political Personality. He is the Founder of Palakhal Rostam Ali Degree College in Kachua , Chandpur, Bangladesh.
Dr. Salim Mahmud is serving as the Secretary of Information and Research , Central Executive Committee, Bangladesh Awami League.
He was also the first law secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League, a students’ political organization in Bangladesh. It is the student wing of the Bangladesh Awami League.
Bangladesh Awami League is the oldest and largest political party of Bangladesh. With the founding and operating principles of democracy, nationalism, socialism and secularism, the party has become synonymous with progress, prosperity, development and social justice. This publication gives a brief account of the illustrious history of the party which has become synonymous with that of the country.
